I think aftonbladet has a really good layout :/ The articles are centered and not too wide (you read faster if there aren't that many words per line on a screen) and all stuff related to the article are to the right and similar articles are to the right of that!

Edit: Oops infractioned (forgot since it was my first post :(). I'll edit in an image anyway.

I don't think they seem irrelevent. They all give you sleep advice and stuff. And you clicked an article about sleeping less then 6 hours.

Edit: Damn Kisze made me forget an image!

Only casuals don't know what form factor this is.

Except it doesn't look like the F/A-18 at all. Its definitely based off the F-15.

It would be better if we could see it from a bird's-eye view instead of from the side.

It's an F-22 and an F-15C.

Let's get some Sukhoi in here too.

Best plane:

Doesn't even need both wings and will hit you with an armory worth of ordnance.

I love A-10s and I have no idea why. Possibly Command & Conquer.

A-10 thunderbolt and the C-130 Specter, battleships of the sky.

The A-10 isn't really a plane, it's more a Gatling gun with wings and missiles.

Shenanigans

Nope.

I've read that an A-10 can fly with parts of the wings, tail and/or engine shot off or damaged. The plane is a beast.

These images are from a story of an A-10 pilot who was hit over Baghdad. Her plane lost its hydraulics, but thanks to the A-10's manual backup system, she was able to regain control of the plane, fly it home and land it safely.
