Low-energy X-rays (red) in the image show expanding debris from the supernova explosion and high energy X-rays (blue) show the blast wave, a shell of extremely energetic electrons. These high-energy X-rays show a pattern of X-ray "stripes" never previously seen in a supernova remant.

My mistake for thinking you were making the same joke everyone else did if you honestly think that someone throwing cartridges at her house is a serious possibility.

The only reason you're saying that someone threw bullets is because she says they 'hit her house'. How could she possibly have mistaken thrown bullets for ones being shot at her house? She wouldn't have even heard them hit her house if they were thrown by hand, and they definitely wouldn't have made any holes.

It failed to specify that because it specified the opposite of what you said. The caption specifically says shes holding up bullets which she says hit her house.

The internet needs sarcasm tags. Of course there is a myriad of possible reasons why that woman found two bullets near her house after a raid in her neighbourhood. Maybe the bullets were dropped by US soldiers. Maybe they were insurgents' bullets. Maybe the woman was telling that with these bullets she would become a martyr and the interpreter misunderstood her. The point of that pic is that the media is operating in the fog of war and that you therefore shouldn't take anything at face value. Geez.
