Alright, how about in LOTR- the poor acting from everybody, the one-dimensional characters, the lame story, the huge CGI armies that somehow manage to be less exciting than a two man fistfight next to an airplane.
 
I can't speak for the CGI armies, but I don't know what you're talking about on the other two. I thought the acting was very good. I'm pretty sure they won several awards for it. And how can you say that the characters are one-dimensional? Every one of the main characters had a defined personality and some sort of internal struggle they had to deal with. Anyways, it doesn't matter what I say, you guys will just keep arguing no matter what.

The corniness of Indiana Jones is what makes it good, it's sort of like the first of those "make fun of themselves" kind of movies, like Crank and Shoot Em Up, but with a story.

As for LOTR It had amazing acting don't even gimme that shit lefty, I agree with you 50% on the characters though. Legolas and Gimli were by far the most interesting characters yet you get no back story or anything on them. Even at the end it doesn't explain what happened to them. But every other character was pretty darn fleshed out.

And the armies were epic stfu, foolio!
 
It doesn't matter because jurassic park is superior to both anyway.

frodo- carries ring, gets progressively crankier. probably gay.
sam- durr I'm following you. probably gay.
merry- comic relief. possibly gay.
pippin- comic relief. would go gay for him.
gimli- comic relief
legolas- two lines, masturbatory material for prepubescent girls and vegeta
gandalf- I don't even know what the **** the point of this guy is. he's useless.

aragorn was a bit interesting. his becoming a mysterious ranger to hide his noble lineage is cliched to **** and the flashbacks with the nipple-less elf chick were irritating, but he was still cool.

andy serkiss had a memorable performance with gollum.

nobody else matters. and the story is convoluted as ****.
 
pfffft it was (and still is) ridiculously good. I mean the special effects are easily comparable to todays movies, they are still better than most in fact.

But better then Indy, it is not.
 
They're equal on different planes.

I still don't understand how CGI from the early nineties looks so good, but nowadays shit like star wars and indy four looks like ****ing cartoons. They're trying to pass some space jam shit off as a good sequel. **** that.
 
Indiana Jones- goes looking for treasure, falls in love along way, decides to give back treasure at the end of every movie. (this isn't cliche?)

Female character- strong-willed, independent woman who rejects Indie until he saves her. (aka "total bi-otch")

Short Round- token "funny" asian kid, all I see is Data from The Goonies

I'm not even going to argue - I HATE movie arguments because literally everythign about a movie argument is 100% opinion.. I could easily say "Well I thought every character in Jurassic Park was gay", you have no evidence to counter that.

The main problem I have is that all the LOtR movies were equal on that chart. 3 was definately better than 2 and 2 was better than 1. The chart is flawed.

I love the sounds the supressed weapons make .... well in games anywho . As for the hotlinking , it always works for me :S . I think it might be my browser cache.
 
MP5s with silencers are neat, but the SD foregrip is just ugly as hell.
