I realize that criticism on image hosting services may be more or less hypocritical coming from me, but I have had a number of otherwise great gifs ruined by the fact that tiny url links are turned into jpg's.
Just now figured out the problem.

Nah, they generate urls with .jpg at the end but still animate like .gifs.
