I just got it today from Netflix and plan on watching it tonight after work.

I saw it. The gfx "look" cool. The movie "looks" cool. The story feels like a cgi with real actors hentai movie. Horrible movie. :/

Strange movie ,some actors are real and some are cgi. No logic to which is which, just kind of random.
Its an adaptation of "Gods in chaos" a french comic book from the 80`s written illustrated and filmed by Enki Bilal (so theres no excuse for a patchy adaptation).
As I said , strange movie but worth a look if your a sci-fi fan, but he draws better than he directs(imho).

There were some interesting parts to the movie but for the most part the acting is bad. Story isnt powerful and not explained. Thats my take on it. Just post what you feel when you watch it.

I can put up with bad acting if it is a no name actor. But if it is a mainstream celebrity that is acting horrible *cough*Brad Pitt*cough*Troy* then it gets to me.

Kind of lame. CGI wasn't anything to get off on. Plot was very dull. I didn't like the mix of CGI characters with real life ones. If they were going to do that they should of tried a little harder on the detail. the lip syncing for the CGI characters was very bad. Sometimes it looked as if they just used the same animation for every sentence. Should of just used paper bag puppets.

I did like some of the environmental CG though.

Well "kind of lame" was about the best reaction I was hoping for.
Its not a great movie , thats for sure, even with the obvoius amount of talented people involved in its creation.
Why they mixed cgi and meat puppets(actors) is beyond me, there didnt even seem to be any reason or logic behind which was which.
I was interested in this movie purely because of the (equally strange) graphic novels that it came from.
I guess it goes to show that comics arent generally the best material for films. Ive heard that Moebius and his son have made an animated film also, I have this sinking feeling its going to be pretty bad aswell.
