Importing HL2 models to 3DSMAX 7

What i need to Import HL2 models to 3DSMAX 7? And what do i need to Export them to the Game. I know how to get the models to my computer but I dont know how to import them to 3DSMAX 7

You need an .SMD exporter to get a model out of Max and into Hammer. Use this once you have the .SMD file - http://www.jpole.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/downloads.html

For getting models from HL2 into Max, you shouldn't really be doing that anyway...
