Did Alyx always have sweat? I hate how in movies and video games heroines always have perfect makeup and such. How Alyx and Barney had some bruises and were dirty was very much welcome.

This is more impressive in motion. Reflectivitititiyness. I guess.

This one really got me. This is cooler than the effect in Far Cry where your glass scope actually showed what it was looking at. In the little video "conference" scene, the projector actually shows the projected video! :O All reflected, of course.

I thought the most impressive thing was the Vorts appearing at the beginning and picking up Alyx. That was the first time I knew that the whole game was going to surpass HL2 itself.

Actually it's just a texture. It looks the same but it isn't reflected or anything like that. Just a flipped texture.

The point is its pretty damn impressive to go to that level of detail because you are expecting
some players to go to the trouble of jumping up on the table to see if the "projector" is actually
working like a real projector.

I think that qualifies as an easter egg.

The only thing I'm pissed off about is stuttering, and it's not even hl2ep1 Because it happens when nothing is running.. I just move the mouse around abit and.. and freezes for a tiny bit, pisses me off.. But yeah

I have Nvidia and dont have that problem. Sounds like its something else.

Is everyone's rig really that far behind? I was starting to think my stuff was bad because I can't run FEAR or GRAW with full graphics.

I don't even have a recommended rig for Doom 3, HL2, FEAR and even Halo PC, although I meet the minimum. Almost all because of the GFX card... ah damn. Also don't have 1GB of RAM.
