Staff from the fansite Left 4 Dead 411www.left4dead411.com were recently invited to Valve's offices in Bellevue, Washington, where they were cordially greeted by some of the developers working on Left 4 Deadwww.l4d.com - Such as Michael Booth, Chris Ashton, and Brandon Idol. Today, L4D411 has published a lengthily and detailed hands-on preview of Left 4 Dead, wherein the experience is the focal point of the article. To add, this is but one of two parts - The first part is all about the survivor side of the game.

We as gamers seem to hear this kind of sensationalism for unreleased games far too often, and believe me that I too have been the victim of such unwarranted hype - but I promise you that these are not empty words. This game is truly original and it offers up a pure gaming experience.

I have to say this is the best game preview I have ever read in my entire life. Take that game sites who are clone interviews! The downside to all this though is before I really, really wanted this game. Now I really, really want this game! :imu: I think they are close to release imo.

To our right were a couple dozen zombies, all walking around like zombies do, some up close and others far away, and then one turned and looked our way. And then another. The music started to build and get more intense. In what has to be the most amazing scene in gaming I've ever laid my eyes upon, this mass of rabid zombies all turned and dashed right towards us, with incredible fluidity. Not only that, but on our left was a chain-link fence that another dozen or so started to climb over, hell-bent on killing us.

My heart rate actually spiked when I read this. I AM SO PUMPED.

Holy smokes part 2 will be epic people!! I just browsed through their forums and some member asked about the boss infected. He asked if there were any pics of the hunter and witch taken. He said all will be revealed including pics, in part 2! Seriosuly I cannot wait! :thumbs: SMOKER
