Pixar kicks ass. Ever since Toy Story, I've had to see 'em all, and they were all great. Finding Nemo wasn't that good, but I think its safe to say that The Incredibles is their best yet!

I really enjoyed it. I've seen it about 15 times since my 4 year old seems to love it. As soon as he wakes up he asked for his superhero "Incredibles".

No offence, but I think that all these kids movies are just flavours of the month, you know it'll get replaced by Robots, then that will be replaced by something else. When I mean replaced I mean that Robots and The Incredibles will go in a knife fight and all the kids will just laugh at thier cliched jokes. Robots will win because it is new...

The difference between Robots and the Incredibles:

Robots: Sucked. A lot. If it had to suck something, it would suck something nasty. Basically just a long boring movie made only to make more toys and video games to make more money for kids. The animation was great, don't get me wrong. But everything else sucked harder than a whore who's getting twice the pay. Robin Williams did his same act he's been doing for 20 years, and it still isn't funny.

The Incredibles: Actually had a plot, and a pretty good one at that. Funny scenes, inside jokes for older viewers, and it was overall very entertaining. Excellent animation once again. And it was just cool.

I'd assume you haven't seen either of them, Danimal.


I could do that with Finding Nemo and Shark Tale, too. Even though Finding Nemo is probably my least favorite Pixar movie.

And yes, The Incredibles is a great movie. I actually just saw it last night, was amazing. Pixar > whoever the hell made Robots.

Speaking of trailers, have you seen the three Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ones? Looks like that movie might not screw the book as much as I would have thought!

Madagascar isn't a Pixar film, its Dreamworks. They made Robots, Shrek and Shark Tale, and are basically just Pixar's rival.

Pixar is making a film about talking cars, i beleive. Race cars or something. Looked interesting.

So how would you explain why some kids movies do much better than others?

Yes kids laugh at really any movie they see however I do notice that they talk about certain movies a lot more than others. Also in my opinion, a good kids movie, appeals to both kids and adults. And man, Finding Nemo, and a Bugs Life are some of my favorite movies. Incredibles is up there too. It was awesome.

Kids do like movies that are the most complex but understandable at the same time, so they can show off how much they know about the movie instead of remember when he fell on his face and farted?
