Corpses are dead. Tissue degenerates and decays. Sinews wither. Blood congeals. Zombies shamble because the voodoo forces driving them are having to fight against this lack of muscle power and motor control.

The idea of being surrounded by hordes of slowly advancing, stinking, uncalculating, shuffling corpses of people I once knew is a lot scarier to me than the threat of being chased by some angry chavs. That shit happens all the time in this country anyway.

Numbers > Speed.
