Look at the recent news posts; both ShadowGrounds and Alien Swarm pit you against a huge plague of creepy-crawly things... and being the squeamish person that I am, I really don’t feel like meeting any of the b*ggers. [br] [br] Sigh. If you can't beat them, join them. [br] [br] That's the basic concept of Insect Infestation. You are a bug. You must kill other bugs. I’m pretty sure there's more to the game than that, but unfortunately the Official Site is too lazy to get out of bed, and poking it just results in a burped error message. Sorry about the website not being there guys, FileFront decided to do a scheduled maintenance a few hours after we did the media release, so there wont be a website until tuesday.

You can make your own plants from FPS but in RTS style, and after you planted them, they'll grow slowly, etc.

I'm more excited for this than anything else really, other mods seem to be simply tired concepts tried time and time again. I'd like to make a fansite but I don't really have the web development tools or skills. Anyways the screenshots look absolutely brilliant - been following this mod since it's pre-HL2 announcement and i'm more excited than ever. Keep it up infestation.
