ok i was reading that awsomes skins thread i got myself a good awp model / skin but now it wont install (thx steam) the readme has no info, and normaly is gose into cstrike folder. it in the Cstrike folder... nuthing working....

btw what do i do with a .rar file

I see someone likes blaming their computer illiteracy on Steam

computer iliteracy? if im illiterate with anything its with the very gay english language im nearly failing it. btw ive been pokeing with computers since i was 3-4Years old with the old dos menu thing and 10" floppys, or was it that old compaq who cares?

ive never had much use for .rar files that is why i dont know how to use them or what their even for.
dont accuse me of being computer illiterate because of a faulty program.

I got the models from a different site (counterstrike-DL) what ever it is and yes the models work properly now, no help from this place.

OK to answer you, .rar is another compression thingo, like.zip, so dl winRAR or another 1, winRAR as good as anything, and just extract like a .zip

If you ask for help and act like that, you won't get help. Thankfully, people here have responded in a friendly manner, well some, and you don't even give them credit.

1. It is not Steam that caused this problem, you're just putting the files in the wrong place.

2. Download WinRAR.

3. Your a jackass.

But I see you have downloaded from Counter-Strike-DL.com and that's a good site.

Don't ask for help around here again if you're gonna act that way.

ummm, seems ur skin is in the wrong folder and because no1 else wants to help u...
place the skin here -> .../valve/steam/steamapps/*emailnamehere*/counter-
strike source/cstrike/models

and btw, steam is 1337 :thumbs:
