International Conference to Review the Global Vision of the Holocaust

The funny thing is that they got the guys from Naturei Karta, a Jewish, anti-Israel, ultra-Orthodox, anti-Anything that's not them sect. They're pretty much the Jewish version of Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist church.

Oh my God, they're holding a pathetic, irrelevant conferance! LET'S DESTROY THINGS, IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, OUR GOD! CHRIST IS GREAT! CHRIST IS GREAT! HOLY WAR FOR THE SAKE OF C.... I think you get the picture. Another funny thing is that Israelis submitted cartoons to the holocaust denial cartoons thing they held about a year ago.

Speaking of anti-Semitism... http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/images/ahmadinjad_neturei_1.jpg

Is it just me or does Ahmadinejad's nose look quite big in comparison? I mean, that's a big ****ing nose for a madman. And they say that Jews have big noses. I think I'll hold on to this picture just for future referance! :)

I also find it funny how Iran is complaining about lack of freedoms of speech in "the West" by not being allowed to deny the holocaust.

However these laws only exist in countries which have been some of Iran's biggest foreign investors, such as France and Germany, while the enemy that they are trying to spite, such as the USA doesn't explicitly have holocaust denial laws.

So it's a bit of a fruitless exercise anyway, since it's just driving away the only countries in the West that they could have had potentially good links with.

I think this conference is a great idea. If the Holocaust indeed happened, researchers will confirm it and all these idiots will be silenced once and for all.

Don't hold your breath.

I'm sure no proper researchers will be attending.

Can't we just forget about our past and start anew?

No?

Break out the napalm then.

The only free speech you have in Iran or similar countries is if: you are not gay, you are not a woman, Jew, Christian or any other infidel, you are not criticizing the government, you are not criticizing Islam, etc.
As for this holocaust denial, its just another provocation. /ignore is the best, and Iran's new youth will get rid of that system themselves.

You know, we should hold a conferance discussing Muhammed. Not as a retaliation, because here in the West, we don't retaliate when our religious beliefs, which are pretty much secular, are offended. We wonder. We know that Jesus was by no means perfect and that he did evil things. I wonder, however, if people know a proportional amount about Muhammed, however... You know, Jesus didn't like Jews. Muhammed took it to the next level: He hated them and slaughtered Jewish Tribes. He was also a pedophile. So whatever conclusions we draw, common sense says that IF you follow Muhammed, you're following evil. If you're following Jesus, you're following a lesser evil, and if you're following Naturei Karta, well, you're most likely an idiot. And the dilemma is that both Christianity and Islam both have a secular majority that largely abstains from living their lives like their prophet(s) did.

You know, we should hold a conferance discussing Muhammed.

If the goal is to incite more anger from Muslims towards the West, and more terrorist attacks, then it should be done. Otherwise, let them deny the Holocaust all they want. I actually find it upsetting that in Germany, it is illegal to deny the Holocaust. By making it illegal to deny the Holocaust, it almost feels like they want people to believe that this event which might not have happened actually happened. If they know it happened, who cares if some idiot wants to say it did not happen?

Now, who wants to deny the French Revolution with me?

jesus didnt like jews? :LOL:

jesus was a jew

I like it how they're being champions of freedom of speech, but if you say anything bad about Ayatollah, you will be beaten up.

Should we have a conference on whether Mohammed existed or not?

A (scary) thing I learnt the other day: Iran means "Land of Aryans" :O

An Ayatollah is a religious scholar, Allah is God. Also Iranians, and Indians (from India) are originally Aryans.

Don't count on it.

Yes, I was refering the the Supreme Leader of Iran.

Also Iranians, and Indians (from India) are originally Aryans.

My comment was tongue in cheek, about how the Nazis refered to themselves as Aryans.

And so is chess champion Robert J. Fischer, and he also doesn't like Jews.

oh would you shut up henry ..what relevance could that possibly have? this is jesus not some person struggling with modern day questions of faith

Nazis collaborated a lot of times with arabs. Even in the Third Reich, political benefit was above ideology.

Imo you can see signs of Iranian youth wishing to break the barrier and overthrow the strict Islamic system.
This whole polarization is just another sad attempt of the Ayatollah's to extend their "reichs" lifetime.
Not "falling for it" is the best thing we can do = no response, no media attention = /ignore.

I think its a great idea too, but only because it makes a marvellous first strike point if the US decides to invade ;).
In the meantime it should just be ignored - although it is worrying that this sentiment is growing.

Do you honestly think the US is capable or even willing to invade? Look at Iraq, they can't handle a country half the size of Iran. Iran's pop. is also three times bigger and around half of it is under 30. Putting aside the logistical/strategical problems, there are still other issues like nobody will even consider another joint venture with the US. Plus their rapidly depleting treasury and armed forces. Etc... An attack on Iran is highly unlikely.

They could invade it, but not occupy it.

Yeah, this invading countries you disagree with is getting kind of old hat.

I can't believe peopel can deny this, espcially when you can walk around the camps where the holocaust took place. Over 6'000'000 people, mostly Jews, but gays, disabled, blacks and gipsies were murdered by one of the evilest bastards ever to live, and people deny it happend only, what, 60 years later. ****ing retards, the lot of them.

EDIT: Just looked on wikipedia; apparently 11 million people, 6 million of which were Jews.

It's a tad Ironic, that you're directing the same slurs against the Nazis that they did against disabled people?

I meant that they butchered them. Either way.
BTW, screw my prevoius posts, from wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holocaust) :

* About 6.0 million Jews, including 3.0–3.5 million Polish Jews[9]
* 1.8 –1.9 million non-Jewish Poles (includes all those killed in executions or those that died in prisons, labor, and concentration camps, as well as civilians killed in the 1939 invasion and the 1944 Warsaw Uprising)[10]
* 200,000–800,000 Roma & Sinti (Gypsies)
* 200,000–300,000 people with disabilities
* 80,000–200,000 Freemasons[11]
* 100,000 communists
* 10,000–25,000 homosexual men
* 2,500-5,000 Jehovah's Witnesses[12]
* 3.5–6 million other Slavic civilians
* 2.5–4 million Soviet POWs
* 1–1.5 million political dissidents

My point stands. Bloody nobs. Most, if not all of these poor sods didn't deserve this in any way, obviously. Now people can't even honour their sacrifice?

EDIT: Sorry if I seem a bit spazzy, but I get really angry at these people, who claim its all a "Jewish conspiracy", for the above reason.

I guess they wont be showing those pictures and numbers at that convention.
:(

Aye horrific stuff, but they weren't the first, and they won't be the last to do such things.

A couple of generations later, people will have forgotten the evils of Hitler.

If anything, let the holocaust serve as a reminder of what can happen when good men do nothing.

The lesson of the Holocaust is that perfectly normal people can commit atrocities if their leaders or those in a position of authority tell them that it is acceptable for them to do so. The Holocaust also reminded us that there is a sadistic side to human nature.

Raziaar. Fix your quotation.

The lesson of the Holocaust is that perfectly normal people can become mass murderers if their leaders or those in a position of authority tell them that it is acceptable for them to become that way. The Holocaust also taught us that there is a sadistic side to human nature.

The Holocaust taught us that? No... it only reaffirmed it.

You can't debate the existence of the holocaust... like buh. Is the sun real? "Debate!!"
The holocaust isn't a theory or piece of fiction, it is an event that occured. The figures involved may be exaggerated and/or innacurate, however the principal remains. 'Nuff said?

Wow people still believe that holocaust happened? I thought we cleared this up years ago.

Joking of course.

How do you know that it happened? Did you see it with your OWN EYES?

All your assumptions regarding this subject are epistemologically incorrect.

Whatever that means.
