its getting really annoying. And dont say switch 2 firefox, lol. Just tell me why this is happening and is it me?

LOL, I think that has something to do with teh site you are browsing, a scripting error and some software that you have installed is trying to debug it. I found that when I was workign on people's pcs with some soft of .NET software installed, it would happen. I'm not just saying this as a simple solution, but you should try firefox for a week, just to see what its like etc. Have a look at the extensions and themes you can get for it so you can totally customise it to your browsing needs. IF you don't like it, then IE is always waiting for you, so you have nothing to loose.

First, Opera > Firefox > MSIE.

Second, in MSIE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, and under Browsing, make sure Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer) is checked and that Display a notification about every script error is unchecked.

Seriously though, go ahead and give Opera or Firefox a try.

Opera is down right amazing and the best browser, though I wish it had alot more Plugin support. If it had alot more Plugin support I would be using it instead of firefox right now. Though Firefox is still great, and when you add extensions it gets up to Opera or at least close to it. Though out-of-the-download Opera wins.

I'd be using opera right now instead of FF as well if i could figure out how to make a mouse gesture that sent me to my home page, and another to switch between tabs.

I used to use Opera, but I stopped because I was using a really slow laptop before I got my pc. Just been using FF for about a year now and I'm used to it being there and all the customisations I have for it. Could give Opera a try I suppose, but I recon I will just keep on using FF.

Internet Explorer is a non complient browser. Simple javascript that works fine in all complient browsers refuses to work in IE.

Hold right click, wheel to switch between tabs (same as Ctrl + Tab). There's no go to homepage default, but if you edit or create a new mouse gesture (Tools, Preferences, Advanced, Shortcuts, Edit...) you can reassign or define one that goes to your homepage.. or does pretty much anything Opera does.

Quick overview for those of you not familiar with mouse gestures: http://www.opera.com/features/mouse/
