Internet slow on this computer fast on other...

Hey I have 2 computers set up on a Switch in my basement, connected to a cable modem.

Now on my good computer( this one) my internet has been super slow recently. But its not my ISP cause its fast still on my other computer. So its obviously something that was installed. Ive done spyware scans cleaned that shit up but its pissing me off. If I cant figure it out ill just format the ****er, to clean up whatevers causing it...

Any ideas on what it could be though..

You say you've checked for spyware what about a virus scan? Also run a couple of anti spyware programmes to pick up some the other may have missed. (Adaware and Spybot search and destroy are both very good.)

If you are willing to reformat, nothing beats a nice clean install of Windows.

hes correct..use these tools
Spy bot search and destroy
ad-aware se
spy sweeper

and try a few antiviruses like
AVG
bitdefender
mcAfee
Norton

sum of those you will have a free 30day try..you can get rid of viruses in a day ...update them before scan
