valve said summer, and i dont think theyd be dumb enough to hoodwink the community again.

summers already started, and its 3 months long. now im no sherlock homes but to me that suggests it should be out withing the next couple of months.

personally i think HL2 will hit steam in july and come out in august sometime.

-Watch the original trailer from 2003.

-Watch the 2004 trailer.

-Watch the gamespy video from E3 2004.

All that is left to do now is wait for Hl2's release in the year 3067.

to all the people in this thread who said, no more previews, interviews etc., just finally release the game, we waited long enough and so on. like somebody said here, hey, we're waiting since one year on this game. that's not much. we didn't know before of hl2.

But you didn't actually do nothing for a year BUT wait for a game. You have a life (hopefully) and did other things. It would be really sad if someone waited for a game for a year and did nothing else with their lives It's a GAME after all.

I think people tend to take this far too seriously. This isn't a cure for cancer, it's not going to make the world safer, it's not going to solve terrorism etc. It's just a game guys...nothing more. And, until a year ago, no one even knew it existed (I would have hated to see the reaction if valve announced the game 5 years ago and had all these problems).

valve have messed up and their PR sucks major ass and it doesn't seem like the right hand knows what the left hand is doing. It's surely fine to be annoyed and irked (I am too), but we can't control any of what they do or say...so why worry about it? Why get incredibly pissed off? It doesn't do anything other than make us get emotional and stressed. Getting mad surely isn't going to help get a game released.

The game will come out some day in the future; could be a month, two, end of the year, next year...who really knows? Even valve don't seem to have a clue after all Bottom line is nothing we do will speed it up or get us more information....so find other things to do and have fun with life/friends/relationships/other games/booze/serial killing/dancing with peanut butter in your pants/eating raw chicken/....etc.

(the point is: smile...don't worry so much guys)

Now you know thats not true, I'm not going to read it untill somone else has read it and says it's worth reading. It's like a game of DoD you let your teamate go round thar corner first so they get shot instead of you.

mrchimp, are you implying that if you see a 5 page thread the day the interview is out to the public, and the thread just happens to be about the interview, you would not glance at the thread and read the interview and post in spite of what you might have said in this thread saying that you'r sick of interviews?

I really don't have a life. Right now, it is summer and all I have been doing is sitting at my computer playing Natural-Selection for 3 weeks... waiting... for the ONE!
