"One thing I've always found annoying is people who complain about something in the game that was intentionally part of the design, I can understand complaints of glitching and such, but that's a different story.

Last night I was playing TF2 and I decided to use the spy class, since I hadn't used it much before, and I was doing pretty decent, successfully getting in the enemy base, stabbing a few people in the back, etc. Anyway, some guy that I had only stabbed once sends me a message with only the word: "leave". Now, being the courteous and open-minded person that I was I proceeded to shiv him once more and add some teabagging on top, kind of like chocolate syrup, it adds to the overall flavor.

Then I received yet another message, cordially requesting that I cease my shanking activities, or at least that's my interpretation of "*&#* off". So I reply merely with a smile (refer to fig. 1) and seek him out to insert more pointy things into his spinal column, which I did, with some satisfaction, taking this as a prime opportunity to do some squats, coincidentally over his face.

So at the end of this tale I receive a final message from <insert username here> saying "haha, enjoy your ban, you've been reported by 13 people" and not wishing to be rude, I responded to his farewell address with one of my own, "I will, and you enjoy being a petty douchebag" followed by a double tongue click and an ocelot-esque hand gesture that I can only hope my newly found friend imagined when he listened to it.

Then I was kicked.

I am aware of the irony."


Is this kind of stuff really happening?

Yeh, I hate it when admins think they rule the world, or players get annoyed because a player is better than them or because they are just idiots and dont relise a heavy weirdly standing ontop of their sentry.

I was on a server with about 17 other people, we were all enjoying our game on Dustbowl until one admin on Blu team (my team @ the time) says to a red Engineer, 'Move that sentry or I'll ban you' then the guy said 'Why'

(I'll put it in a little thing cos theres lotsa dialog...

Admin - 'Move that sentry or I'll ban you'
Engineer - 'Why move it?'
Admin - 'Because its in an impossible place to destroy and I call it an exploit, so move it now, or your banned'
Engineer player was silent.
Admin - 'Well are you going to move it or what?'
Me - 'I don't see what the problem is, I just destroyed it'
Admin - 'Good, don't bother making a new one cos I'll just ban you'
Engineer Player - 'It's destroyed now get over it'
Admin - 'I wasnt the one exploiting the map'
Engineer player was silent.
Me - 'Can we all shut up now and play the game please?'
Admin - 'Can we all stop exploiting the map and play the game please?'
Me - 'I'm not the one your argueing with!'
Admin - 'Suppose, but I'm not argueing with anyone now...'

Engineer player gets this 'HAHAHAHA LOSER, THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR CHEATING IN MY SERVER!' Banned for (blah blah).

Then the whole game went into uproar about the admin.

I just hate it when admins think they are god.

EDIT: Btw, the sentry was in a perfectly normal place, the admin was just too crap to destroy it

Isn't there any one higher than the admin patroling? Is there a place were you can report a rouge specter I mean admin?

I was in one clan server whom I won't name playing 2fort. A few clan members were on my team as they were on the other team and FF was on. There was some team killing going on as expected. I grabbed the blu intel and was running out of the base. As I'm heading across the bridge a medic on my team who was in the clan greets me. He then proceeds to kill me with his bonesaw. After I die he says over his mic "my intel!". I asked why he did that and he told me off. So out of anger I go looking for him so I can kill him and after shooting him several times he doesn't die. Apparently FF couldn't hurt the clan members. After he killed me again, I was kicked.

I love getting called a hacker when I snipe a spy who thinks he's invisible, but has teleporter dust behind him, or doesn't realize that he becomes visible when he bumps into people

Admins have the rights to govern their own servers the way they want to, quit whining and go somewhere else.

Make sure you play on servers with a good reputation, e.g the forum of a reputable gaming community forum, they often have sensible, fair admins.

**** yeah. It's like if you come into my personal battlefield, I totally have the right to direct all of the automatic weaponry against you.

Srsly, just go someplace else. I know it's annoying but it is kinda their server. They should have basic ettiquete and crap but there's no way to force it on them, short of leet hax0r powers.
