Didn't see this forum... Was more interested in the HL2 info.
I decided to register and look around at the other forums once I noticed how often I checked in to see the updates to the valve official info thread.
My name is Adam, my alias is Rogue Shadow, I like just about everything relating to computers and games. I have a strong affinity for technical things and read all about them given the chance, or resources to do so. I've always wanted to learn to code stuff, i've learned some c++ basics, some visual basic basics (I took a class on it once, my final score was 105%, I mainly stuck around class to help classmates). The only game i've really developed was a tetris clone in Javascript, was for a friends 2d engine.
Despite wanting to code stuff, I went to ITT Tech for elecronics (had one less english class and a friend of mine was going to that one). Later they added an english class and my friend dropped out to do something else. Very sad, I would have picked coding. But electronics can be fun too, and you can code microproccessors near the end of the course. (Not Pentium 4's, little cpu's for cars and stuff, but same concept).
I'm also a big anime fan, I watch as much as I can, I can just about always find something to appreciate in an anime, or anything else for that matter, I can be pretty cynical sometimes, and often talk in circle's avoiding my point completely :-/ Bad habit, I guess I like keeping people guessing. Just don't take me seriously if i'm being cynical....
After the ITT Tech thing, i'm a bit broke, but i'm hoping to save up for a DX9 card and HL2, and EQ2. If you want stories about EQ1 I have millions, despite not making it past lvl 20 in any of my numerous characters. (Was affecting my schoolwork, and I was running low on cash, had to quit for a while)
