#halflife2 cannot join channel (+r)


I can join any other channels, just not the important one!

Same is happening to me, I think it's to do with authing with qnet or something, but I'm not as IRC savvy as I would like to be...

yeah to join the channel you have to be authed.

ahh good ol' irc, im never on it enough

I stopped using IRC because dumbass things like that happen all the time... and people use way to much 'lingo'... they try to give me instructions on what to do and all I can do is stare for a while then hit the 'x' button.

Ok, nub question, but how do I auth and register and so on.

they send u an email with a password in
log in using that and change pass. its all in the faqs at quakenet.org.
