So yeah there making an Iron man movie. Although thats been known for a while now. A picture was posted on aintitcool today of the suit though.

umm you guys do realise that Stark went through tons of suits ..that wont be the only one in the movie
 
That's cool. It looks like he'll start with a basic suit, then he'll probably update partway through the movie with the red suit.
 
I like that suit alot. It is very nice, and having him upgrade 1/2 way through would be a pretty badass idea.
 
I suppose alot of fanboys will be glad about getting the old suit back but the old suit sucks. GIVE US THE CLASSIC SUIT!!!
 
I'd much rather they went with a sytlized version of the suit a la Big Guy and Rusty the boy robot:

rather than the "extreme-to-the-max" current armor that says nothing except "lets get more readers by making Iron man more extreme ..to the max!"

Well yeah hes obviously gonna go to the suit he wears now like half-way through the movie. Still I don't know about you guys but the original suit is awesome too :| I like the fact that it looks like its just made up of a bunch of different weapon parts and what not.
 
He'll eventually get the current suit...i hope.
Using that suit the entire movie would just hurt the movie in my opinion.
Not even the original suit looked that bulky.As of now it looks more like the "Iron Giant" then Iron Man.
 
Iron Man is like Batman, but without the awesome.

He doesn't actually have any super powers, but instead of going out and learning all kinds of ninja/kung-fu/ju-jitsu/martial arts like Batman, he just builds a suit...
 
why the hell do they make movies out of this crap?

Why not make COOL movies like a real life BERSERK movie or a real life AKIRA movie...im sorry but most japanese based comics are far more bad ass then the cheesy shit from the 50's-70's...

Because Japanese anime is at least as stupid as this shit. I mean, it's all relative here ... comic books and anime are both pretty damn stupid, but I'm gonna give the award to anime on this one.
 
ok japanese manga (besides the stupid sailor moon crap) is way better than boring old superman, batman spider man from the states.

Read Akira, Berserk, Death Note and you'll see that they have way more depth and they're just way more bad ass than all the american comics...seriously.

American and British comics and graphic novels are way better than any manga.

only the stupid romantic/sailor moon style crap that has consumed most of the manga market in japan..

but nothing compares to some of the classic comics like the ones i've mentioned before, not to mention some really nice recent ones like Death Note and Monster.

If hollywood is looking for some a great thriller, make Akira into a live action film and it'll make millions.

Make Berserk into a live action movie and i bet you any money it'd bring in more movies than spider man or x-men did.
 
Ok, 1. AKIRA, you fail to realize there exist thousands of different comics. And half of them have nothing to do with superheroes. American comics are far superior to almost all Japanese manga in any shape or form. There's a few good ones, but the shit outweighs any of the good.
2. Are the rest of you goddamn retarded? The pic you see in the first post is his ****ing prototype suit. The very first one he made. He's obviously gonna make more, eventually leading to the red one. When you saw Spider-Man, you didn't think he was gonna wear that ridiculous wrestler costume the whole time did you :|?

I've never actually read a single super hero comic in my life(Except for Spawn... and a couple of X-Mens...), I just know what they all looked like from their mainstream appearance.

So, yeah I'm retarded when it comes to comic books.

And that's mostly just Vertigo.

I admit though, Japanese Anime is pleasently... japanese. Shakugan no Shana, for example, holds my sttention. Azumanga Daioh, now that's just ub3rcute. Neon Genesis Evangelion, Bleach (OK, Ok, i like some Jump manga once in a while), Ghost in the Shell... all good works. But on both sides there is a shitload of filler crap (A rather odd anime involving an angel who comes to earth and beats the crap out of some kid for somethink he hasn't done yet. Battle Vixens. wtf.)
 
The Beano (closely followed by The Dandy). Best comic ever. Case closed. :p

anyway, on the suit, it looks like a bulked up version of the power armour from fallout with the exterior pipes and such taken off, which is kind of cool, though I do prefur the later versions.
