"too long didn't watch it" version:
In an interview at Chicago WGN-TV, Mel Gibson calls presenter Dean Richards an asshole.

please think of the children!

this is the man who directed Apocalypto after all, the greatest film of the decade, and thus much too badass to answer politely to stupid questions. please line up in an orderly queue if you disagree and nominate someone who you think is a bigger badass than Mel Gibson. then again I couldn't really muster the strength to care about his personality even if I tried, since he keeps making such stunning films.

Heh, I liked it. Crazy people are so entertaining.

"So do you think you've changed since four years ago?"

"What are you referring to specifically."

"The alcoholism, antisemitism, all that stuff in the news. You know what I'm talking about."

"Wow dude that was nearly four years ago gosh let it go. Asshole."

Reporter was clearly out of line.

Poor Mel Gibson is right, who really cares what happened four years ago?

I punched a nun once, right in the face. But it doesnt matter, it was like, 5 years ago or something.

Let it go America, 9 11 was 9 years ago; let the terrorists go already.

Are you god damn kidding me?

Also, Clive Owen is a bigger badass. Also Daniel Craig.

He later sent a text message to another reporter insisting the insult was aimed at his publicist, who was pulling faces off screen.

btw Clive Owen is a bigger badass than Gibson.

meh mel gibson is in the piblic eye. he should be used to criticism by now. ya it was 4 years ago but all that means is that Mel has gotten better at hiding his crazy ass antics and pov. I love his films but he's not exactly all that rational a person IRL

"There is no salvation for those outside the Church â?¦ I believe it. Put it this way. My wife is a saint. She's a much better person than I am. Honestly. She's, like, Episcopalian, Church of England. She prays, she believes in God, she knows Jesus, she believes in that stuff. And it's just not fair if she doesn't make it, she's better than I am. But that is a pronouncement from the chair. I go with it."
