Is a B on my report Card bad?

well seeing as you need to get Cs or above to get into college, i would say a B is definately not bad.

The funny thing is most geniuses didn't do that well in school.

Personally I think the exam system is a bit of a crock. It tests your memory more than your actual ability to put your knowledge to use. That's why personally I think the assessment (i.e. being examined over a long period of time) is much more sensible.

I don't mind, I'm no genius, I just want to get on in the world and make games :)

Making games would be an awsome job, but I suck at math...

You don't have to be a mathematician. Can you draw? Can you write? Can you model?

I can't draw or model too well(I have never tried modelling I just assume) and I am OK at writing.

Completely off topic, but it freaked me out when i read this

The song i was listening to has "I am so confused" in the lyrics and i read it at the same time it was sung

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :dork:

Anyway, if you got a B and tried your hardest then it's not bad. If you were expected and capable of getting an A or higher, then it's not so good because you didn't work to the maximum of your ability. But it isn't the end of the world, not by a long shot :)

If you got a B and tried your hardest you are screwed.

Well I wouldn't say that, dude. B is a fairly good mark. Some people aren't suited to the method of learning provided at normal schools, either.

Math plays a big part in EVERYTHING!
How can you draw if you don't know how a ruler works using measurement?
Using fractions can help you find out percentage. Percentage can play big part in making games. Especially in War Craft because there are things like
," Add this item to your hero and his/her attack will do 57% more than your old weapon."

I said you don't have to be a mathematician. Implicit in that statement was the assumption that the person in question has at least some basic math skills...

Someone who solves math problems as a job or hobby...

Like I said, you don't need to do that to model, draw or write.
