Been playing through Episode 1 and I'm getting the feeling that Alyx is leading me on more than is really neccesary. That and she seems to give a lot of orders.

"Go get me one of those energy balls!"

"You go first. I'll catch up when it's clear."

Always with that teasy smile on her face. Is she trying to push Gordon's buttons or what? Seems a little inappropriate given the situation.

Actualy she was originaly very bossy but it annoyed players so it was changed around so that she followed you and had complete confidence in you. If anything she's supposed to be a bit shy. If you stare at her too long she looks away and fixes her hair.

Back to the OP for a sec, I'm waiting for her to tell me she's not wearing any underwear or complain that her thong is chafing. Maybe they should implement a 'Gordon with erection' mode, where he moves at only half speed and suffers a distraction penalty to aiming.

Image search the word "pussy" without filter on in google. Copy some of the photo results and post it here. After that, will you be banned? Yes. Did you make it or photo it? No. So why you are banned? You are wrong not because you make this picture but you have copied and posted it here in this forum without anticipation of a geat measure of resentment and antipathy of others which may be caused by this picture. You did not make it, but you posted it. That is already a charge. I am still being disturbed by that picture since it emerges occasionally within my mind. How long have you been on the internet?

Anyway, Alyx's reactions ... and really everyone elses were a bit out of place considering the circumstances. You would think most people would handle situations like she was thrown into with a bit more urgency, but overall the effect was very well done. It's not perfect yet, but Valve handles player/NPC interaction far better than any other developer.

How about adding a scene that Alyx is bathing, naked. You can choose whether peek at her or not. If you choose to peek at her, Gordon with erection mode will begin.

Alyx seems a lot more smiley in Episode 1 than in the first game. It's alittle creepy because I don't see any reason why she'd do that. Perhaps her crush on Gordon suddenly got into full bloom? It's annoying if I happen to look at her, because the smile isn't quite what it's supposed to look like.
And I think she has some serious skin issues...is her skin dying? But I'm glad she isn't as bossy as she could be... in fact, it's as though she keeps more to the background than in hl2.
