I mean think about it, in classic storytelling, its the one thats supposed to be your greatest ally that betrays you in the end. 'N besides, she's hot, its always the hot ones you can't trust, hehehe. I remember reading in an interview that the conflict won't be 'black and white', that those who you think are fighting against you really are fighting for you, and those you think are on your side are conspiring against you. Hey!, maybe one of the final bosses could be "Dog" once you find out that Alyx is really not on your side. K, I'll end this senseless post now...

Well at the end of the game you dont obey the gman and then gman captures alyx and when u go to the gman hes facing you...and when you free alyx while gman isnt looking she takes out her gun...shoots you....you go into a coma...and then so ends halflife2 and begins halflife3

She would have to be born, otherwise the death of her mother at BMRF would of killed alyx, but then again she would be on maturnity leave. But many people are saying that her mum was killed during the BMRF incident

I bet you her mother was Gina. Course I never did complete Decay (Level 4. Pah.) so I don't know what happens at the end. Of course, wouldn't you assume that Gordon Freeman was dead, having gone over to Xen and never come back? If you weren't him you would believe that he sacrificed his life to destroy the Nihilanth. If something similiar happened to Gina, and if she is Alyx's mother... I expect her to play her part. Oh, and don't bother to point out the difference between 'Vance' and 'Cross', they may not have married or Gina may have wanted to keep her maiden name (being the independant woman that she is).

Well that explains all. If you played Blueshift, and went into the security room, and activated one of the cameras, you would of noticed Gina taking something down to the anti-mass spectrometer. That means she was at Ground Zero along with Freeman. Is their actually a story behind Gina, or was she just a Extra.

cuz in the end of decay(I complete it,exectep the extra level but dont continue the history of all the decay)Gina and Collete(another woman)close something to like be a machine that maybe is responsable of the resonace cascade(that machine is called rift)and not die(I not 100% sure)
and the part in blue shift is cuz Gina is tramsporting the specimen to the test chamber

and alyx is not look like gina
alyx looks a litle asiatic,in my opinion
