Aight well I woke up and I was about to fly to some place and back, but I had to cancel my flight because I didn't want to fly in this weather, because Im training, so I was like hmm Im up now and really bored, so I go to steam and to play counterstrike source, and it load up like normal. Then I go to server list and hit refresh and well nothing come up, I hit it again and again, and nothing, restart my cpu, and nothing still. Then I bother to look at what it says and the refresh list say cannot connect to master something, I forget how it was written. So could it be that cs:s finally closed off to the beta tester, and maybe its going to be announced gold today? OR is steam just down.

correct...but cssource/steam isn't down right now...

delete the masterservers and serverbrowser from c:\program files\steam\config\
do not open the server browser outside of the CS:S game. if you open it on desktop that seems to be what is screweing mine up

well do this:
1) go to your favorites list
2) click Add Server
3) put in 66.150.107.35
4) ok
thats the only server I have written down on paper. I'll have to type it in everytime you restart CS:S

Well i got a fix for the problem....
Download the all seeying eye
http://www.udpsoft.com/eye2/index.html
then u add CS:source refresh server list. You get all the servers
Then then go in CS:Source and type in consule:
connect "server IP"

( without the "")

Hope it works for you too!
