Is it me or is Burnout Revenge not as good as....

I think it's better in most respects..but no replays after the crash modes or races kinda sucks. But I think it's an overall better game. The really improved the speed and the sound.

Holy shit it's out? I just got done with a friend playing some uber Burnout3!

I didn't see it at wal-mart though when I went a few hours ago. I really want to buy the next one. The only Mission races I have left are the ones I can't get gold on. Disappointing.

I thought Takedown was worse than Burnout 2, but what the hell do I know?

I thought 3 was killer, but Revenge brings alot of new elements to the table. Some of those changes are just graphical, but there are also alot of nice variations in gameplay in the midst of so many other video game sequels that are just a rehash with different levels. And I say the changes are welcome.

I'm disappointed with Revenge. No quick play options! only from 2 player and above , that sucks big time.

Traffic checking in regular races takes out of them more that it adds. You just don't need to dodge the cars , it's less thrilling. They should have made it as an option.

Other than that , they improved the sense of speed and the tracks are great but overall i'm disappointed. They made stupid decisions which don't make sense.

Bought it. Love it. Can't stop playing it.

It's undeniably better than Burnout 3: Takedown. Criterion manages to make each sequel better than the previous.

I just bought it, will come back and tell you if I love it :)

*EDIT*
Just got done playing Burnout Revenge. I woudn't say it's absolutly BETTER than Burnout 3. They both have their respective betters and worses.

Burnout 3's betters:
-Ability to crash opponents into same way traffic
-Not cluttered up with that "rank" stuff
-easier to maneuver levels in the "campaign" part
-Takes a little more skill to drive around since you can't really crash into oncomming traffic

Revenge betters:
-Ability to rear end oncomming traffic into opponents for cool looking takedowns
-The new "target" car in Crash is something else to work on getting instead of massive pile ups
-Alternate routes! Just the other day I was playing Burnout 3 thinking, "I wish there were different routes to take..." VIOLA!
-The Radio Announcers voice is sexy
-More modes to play. The traffic checking one was great fun. Granted I trippled the Gold medel score on all of them, it's not that it's too hard, it's just fun as hell
-Verticle Takedown. Need I say more? :D

That's all I can think of as of now. There are more, I'm just a little to tired to think of anything else at the moment.

Is the "soundtrack" any better than Burnout 3? Or can I expect to turn the music off this time around as well? :P
