cause its monday here in australia and im waiting to see if there will be a gold announcment this week maybe.

i also had another thought...someone mentioned nov 26/27 for release dat of hl2. and they mentioned that vivendi could hold the gold date until atleat 1 week before the release date rather than give the gold date now. ok let me ask.. isnt that just a stupid thing to do if vivendi were actually going to do that? why make us wait unti lend of nov to tell us hl2 comes out next week when vivendi can announce a gold date now and we can be set releived and ready for hl2 release!!!

what do you guys reckon..oh by the way what about vampire masquerade? what the deal with that? i saw an ad that said it was coming out november????

Any time really - it varies. Although probably in office hours for Valve i'd have thought though.

They're PDT right now (GMT -8, I think).

You probably won't see any announcements until after 5 or 6am, their time. Their workday probably starts a bit earlier, though, so who knows.

Valve goes by PST time which is GMT-8, so if you're in Brissy that's 18 hours ahead for us.

I don't it will be a Gold announcement, but rather a CS S update, which should include a couple of extra maps, skins and bumpmapped chickens. The Gold announcement could come a couple of days later though.

valvE would probobly make it near the biggening of their work day (whatever day it is) because there will be a LOT of questions probobly. So they will want to be able to answer them, but keep your eyes here at Halflife2.net and they will make an announcement the second it comes out!
