I'm more excited than last summer... I really think that that Gabe will announce at E3 that HL2 is going out somewhere near late June and early July... I've got a bad feeling about this... I hate to be disappointed...

I'm too optimistic I think....

I speak from experience here. Don't miss prom. You can get HL2 vids the day after. But you only get to hook up with a desperate band chick who's still pretty attractive on prom night. The next day, she goes back to six hours a day flute study and sexual desire suppression training.

Wait, that was a movie.

The point is that, not to sound crass, but EVERYBODY gets laid at prom, guys and girls both, regardless of prior condition of dorkiness or embarrassing incident(s). Just remember that what happens at prom stays at prom.

I was excited back in September, but I can't say I'm all that excited right now. I'm not too trusting of what the general feeling or vibe is with the Half-Life community.

The time for me to get excited is the time when I hold the Half-Life 2 box in my own freaking hands.

I used to get hyped for games when I was younger but after witnessing numerous delays of various games and games that just didn't flat out come close to living to the hype I can honestly say I'm not that excited. Of course I want to play games like HL2, Duke Nukem Forever and Doom III but I know that there's no use in getting yourself worked up over a game until it actually ships. That's why I could care less about seeing anymore HL2 videos.

I wouldnt have gone evein if HL2 didnt exist. I hate big social events like those. Just ends up with people in the corner talking to each other and being bored. Im not the most social of people anyway.
