Simple Question Is Steam Down god Damn it i cant play

I can get to the steam login prompt then when i try to login it says there is either a problem with my net connection or steam networks

I opened Steam after reading this thread i.e. 30 seconds before making that post.

Ok found a fix on the steam forums at the user login prompt delete ur username (which should be there allready) close steam open up delete username re-enter details and that it...worked for me

Yes that's what we have been seeing all the time - we know...

I don't concidder that as reliable - it's probably just a standart screen...

just logged in normally, it seems all systems are back to normal.
