Is the new Hammer Editor still being released when HL2 does?

Just curious but in the Retail and Steam packages, I didn't see anywhere that said that the new Hammer Editor would ship with it.

I think that is the plan, not 100% sure though.

Hopefully it will. But, it definitely would be with the SDK... whenever that comes around (again, hopefully with the release of HL2).

Valve has stated the SDK will be available at HL2's release...but history would say to take that statement with a grain of salt

one of those guys from valve, coomer, lombardi, cliffe said that they expect to release hammer if not the day hl2 is released then shortly afterwards through steam.

True, but the hammer editor can be released without the SDK. I'm pretty sure it will ship with the game.

Cliffe already confirmed that the SDK won't be with CS: S; he didn't mention anything about Hammer, so outlook isn't too good on that.
