Is the submarine map still in the game?

I have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about. If you saw it a long time ago (before leak), chances are if you haven't heard about it from then to now, it's not in the game.

I'm not crazy here...there were screens of it posted during the E32003 pics...there were definitely plans of a level on a submarine that was either docked or below sea level...regardless, I'll find the pic...

Basically, Valve wanted to make a submarine map and they found some guys who were Half-Life fans that let them on their ship to recreate it.

They did that for some giant cargo ship, which seems to have vanished from any current HL2 media, but I've never heard of a submarine in HL2.

I recalll one of the initial reports on HL2 mentioned somethiing combine guys abseiling into a vessel of some sorts. Submarine?

Valve stated that they went onboard a ship and mapped it completely identically. it was in one of the early 2003 interviews sometime around august. The crew of the ship were said to have been very helpful and excited that their vessel was going to be included in a computer game.
