Is There A Game Where You'd Want To Be A Noob Again?

I want to start playing Pokemon Blue again without knowing all the Pokemon. Although to be honest, all new Pokemon generations have new Pokemon to find, but there was something great about not knowing what a Pokeball did or how to use things. Especially when you're 9 years old.

Tribes 2, the first game I had played like it and pretty much the first multiplayer game I ever tried. Going into my first game and seeing the flying vehicles overhead being shot down was pretty crazy. I jumped in the first transport I saw, felt pretty much helpless. I would probably feel the same about the battlefield games but they felt pretty similar in layout to the tribes games so I wasn't so confused.

I agree, and I still think its the only game like its kind.

There was nothing cooler to me then going ahead of everyone else in the transports on a grav-bike, doing a jump over enemy territory (Having grav bike land outside of their fort), landing on their flag, flash, grab, run forward and use my jetpack intil flash wore off, then jump onto the bike and go head away.

That, and the APC Portable Base was wicked

I'd start noob over in just about every game I've ever played. Going through the first time is a magical experience that you can never get that back.

pfft that has nothing on racing towards your flag capper while he's being chased by the opposing team on katabatic (sp?) getting some huge air and pegging one of the chasers mid flight at 150 meters plus with the blue disk of doom.

Oh man Baldur's Gate was absolutely mystical. I remember playing it when I was like 11 or something and it blew my mind.

Deus Ex for the excellent story and multi-pronged approaches, and the Ravenholm section of Half-Life 2 for the survival horror aspect.

Actually, I'd like to have my competency in FPS-Games + thinking ability and a mindwipe for Deus Ex as well. I played it first when I was 9; I just didn't have the brainpower to enjoy it then.

Well, 12 or something. When I was young and much, much stupider.

Be a noob? Never. Newb, on the other hand, sure. Don't get them confused.

Deus Ex.

Half Life is a close second because I kinda ruined it for myself by cheating the first time through

It has to be WoW. I loved running around Mulgore not knowing what in the world I was doing just looking around and havinf fun.
