is there a special edition?

I pre-ordered the game at gamestop/software etc/Babbage's a while ago, but if there is going to be a tin special edition i definitely am going to get that, i hear people talking about it but Ive never seen valve or sierra say so, whats the word?

Gabe has confirmed that there will be a special edition several times, although he did also state he is not sure what it will include, they are still working on it. He said he wants it to be "fun".

Not flaming, just informing...there's a thread that has a ton of speculation about the premium edition of HL2.

My favorite suggestion there was a crowbar bottle opener

The special Edition should have a preview of the next game to use the Source engine- Duke Nukem Forever. Yes thats right folks, 3DRealms has decided to switch engines and start over fresh once more, with a promised release date of the first half of the 21st Century.

I'd love that!! Ooooh I hope VALVe decides to put that in. Wouldn't be too hard/expensive to have it manufactured 'en masse', and it would be extremely cool! Perhaps I'll have my dad ask if they can make it at his job. A 6-sided metal rod, have it bent,flattened and split at two ends, paint it dirty red and voila (or as kelly bundy would say: viola!!). Have to ask him about that.
