I have only Visa Electron and Steam doesn't accept it.

I was kind of curious about this myself... I didn't specifically want HL:Source but DoD whenever it comes out... it looks like you would have to buy all of HL2 and so on to get just whatever you wanted, I'd like to be able to get Just DoD source... I wonder if that will be possible?

Steam does accept visa electron. I know this because I purchased silver edition with it. Just put it in as a normal visa card and it will work.

An IMPORTANT thing to be aware of is that Half-Life: Source is not an updated version in the same way Counterstrike: Source is.

HL:S looks pretty much like HL1. They only updated the physics and water effects by making it a Source version, not the sounds or graphics. A lot of people are disappointed it's not updated like Counterstrike: Sources is.

So Half-Life: Source is really just Half-Life 1 again in most ways.
