i want to get the most out of my comp.
should i upgrade my Processor or get more ram or is it fine for now?

No, it's absolute crap. You need a complete upgrade, that thing won't even load the HL2 menu screen.

1. Your parents bought that for you and you have no clue what it's capable of.

2. You're trying to brag, if so, sorry gotcha beat, 3400+ AMD 64, 2Gb RAm, x800 Pro.

Anyways, yes, it will run any game from now to a while just fine.

OK you guys misunderstood what i ment i dont want to get off on the wrong foot with you guys as im new here so ill explain my post

im not trying to brag i just dont know much about computers and all i was asking was what kind of upgrade i should get as someone told me my Processor wont last long befor it burns out and the type of ram i have doesnt run well with games
and to Waffles my parents didnt buy this for me i worked my ass for the money to get this and im far from rich if i had that much money i would not have askd for help i would just have got the $4000 one insted of the $1700 one all i want to know is what to get for the long term

Your processor is fine, just like the rest of your PC. Sorry if I came off as an asshole (who am I kidding, I am an asshole) but we get alot of people asking questions like this with the sole purpose of bragging.

Trust me, you don't need an upgrade. Wait for about a year, then upgrade to a 64 bit CPU/motherboard combo.
