Is this proof of MP in hl2?

In this interview from samespot gabe newell admits there is hl2 MP and he wants to keep it a secret until the game is launched but its amazing and he plays it every day. I do not think its a spoiler?

still though...after so long i can't help but be dissapointed that there isn't any multiplayer in hl2 except CS:S

after more than a year's extra delay...what about those fans that are sick of CS? of course i can wait for mods...and i'm sure sven coop 2 will be fun...and others yet unannounced...but jeez...still so disappointing
