I just got a small paycheck, seems like someone did something wrong(lol!). But anyways its 200$. So I am going to sell my current ram for $150 and buy something thats really good at overclocking.

Someone recommended this saying it was one of the best OC ram:

ADATA DDR600 PC-4800 512MB Vitesta

Is it true? Allso is there a review of that memory?

I am planing to OC 3.2c when I get it

Yes that ram is good for overclocking but totally uneccessary unless you are going to overclock the living bejeebus out of your 3.2, which i doubt.
If i was you i would get some ddr4000 from OCZ.

It's fine for overcloking but like GPRT said, a waste if you don't want to overclock the cpu to like 6GHz on Nitrogen or something :p Gp with PC3700 or PC4000. Going with the ultra fast RAM is a waste, as you can change the timings on a PC3200 RAM so that it beats a stock PC4200. It's all about needs and low cas latency.

I'm planning to overclock it to 4.4 ghz ;) (if I get a lucky 3.2c)

Over here, the pc4000 and pc4800 costs almost the same. PC4000 about $140 and that pc4800 $160 so I'm going for 4800.

wait a sec, I found this: Corsair XMS4000 DDR-DIMM 512MB PC4000 32Meg x 8, CAS 3-4-4-8, 500MHz. for "only" $120

Will I be able to get to 4.4 ghz with that?

Probably,
I hope you have an impressive cooling system lined up to cool that cpu...

I'll try upto 4.2 ghz ;)

Someone with OCZ 4200 x2 256 mb ram got his upto 4611 mhz on AIR, yes the cooler he got with the processor. His cpu was 3.2E. He had it stable at about 4.12 ghz.

Amazing

chances of you getting a 3.2c upto 4ghz on air are exceedingly unlikely, with a watercooling system it is much more likely but not guranteed.

Do you think 3.2c can reach 5 ghz with VapoChill XE, Titanium?

The 3.2 will only make 4ghz+ if it has been handpicked and known to be overclocked. If you are buying from a shop chances of you recieving one that will reach 4ghz is very unlikely, and even mor unlikely if you plan to use air.

Why are you getting a 3.2?

Forget about the ram.
Get an Athlon64.
They blowaway any CPU on the market

DUH

umm no, I have no time to explain why.....again

Yeah, this is a good review.
Brand is always good to go by. The rated memory bandwidth is not. PC4000 is not always faster nor will it always OC better than PC3500 or even PC3200 depending on the memory.

Great now you are making it more confusing with those reviews ;)

How is this memory: ADATA DDR500 PC-4000 512MB Vitesta? good overclocker? I can't seem to find it in those reiews
