Yep they've always been right with me, have a laugh with them. I always go through everything first and explain it to them so they aren't wasting time with the usual fixes. Both engineers I've had turned up on time, are always overly helpful. Second one who'd come to upgrade me to 1.5mb wasn't even supposed to, and by rights shouldn't have, but he'd made a list of users they couldn't get in touch with and went round after work to see if we wanted upgrading, installed everything right there and I was up and running within 30 minutes.lePobz said:
Granted I suppose sometimes tech support could be bad, but yeah, treat em right and their happy to help. I once forgot my login details (you know, when you fix up an unrecognised PC you get that logon page) and had managed to lock myself out. Woman on the other end stayed on the line and made sure everything was sorted out. Another time I had a problem with it, called up, woman was fine, sorted it her end, I decided to update to 1mb, she upgraded it there and then, no problem.
Longest I've been offline/no TV from it was during the major upgrades they were doing, and I'd waited longer than I normally would thinking it was that (turned out my STB had died), so can't even blame them for that neither. Got it fixed a day or so after I finally called.
Just hope now I've said all this the support stays good for me lol
