Today and yesterday it snowed like hell here in Nova Scotia.

We've got a lot of snow, I just got in from shovelling and then my power came back on.! It feels so much like Christmas here..mainly because I'm so excited about Tuesday, it's as if it's two days before Christmas.

Hopefully I'll have tomorrow off school, or even better, Tuesday.

yeah for some reason it feels like christmas here too dispite the coldness

I know what you mean ...

Can anyone else here feel the seasons? As in like the smell of the air, the exact temperature ... You can just FEEL it ... Past memories of certain types of weather and stuff ... Does anyone else get that???

It's starting to feel like Christmas here too ... : D

I know exactly what you mean Platinum. I hope it snows on tuesday! I love snow!

Half-life 2 + a snowy day = "best day of my life". :D

Edit: I just checked, it won't snow here on tuesday. ;(

mate Uk is like this all bloody year round, to me its the worst in the world lol.

but anyway, i dont feel like its xmas, and for some reason im not loosing sleep over hl2's release date on tue, like i do with other big games...hmmm

Gotta say that feelings the same over here - except without the snow.

Its been trickling slowly but right now, it's all i can think about..... seriously ALL I can think about....

God - I better get some sleep - Im doing an all nighter tomorrow night and I hope some of you lot will stay up ;)

It's been cold here last week... in another week or two, real winter will be here. But the HL2 imminient release feeling is quite enough :).

So much snow here!

It's crazy..even for the middle of winter it would be quite a lot of snow..but it's November 14th.

Easy to see why gamers feel that way. Just an overall good feeling to feel like part of something bigger than any single player..Of course, games are not required to have any "larger meaning" beyond the fun and the artistry behind em...but waiting for the game does have that wintery-Christmas-morning-imagining-every-other-family-up-&-down-the-block-is celebrating-too feeling...

I am Well-Pleased to Be in Such Excellent Company!

Awwww! Why can't it start snowing here already!? Damn global warming! It should be getting colder not warmer ffs.

No christmas feeling here. However Im not that excited for this game. . .I have a feeling its going to be a Halo 2

I know what you mean, im kinda glad HL2 has fallen into this time, i seem to have a higher sense of awareness and abbility to enjoy stuff. lol

Well...I can't speak to "Halo 2", since I am XboX-less--but I can speak--to the simple happiness the anticipation oif the game brings. Blissfully, none of the social scientists have done a study of PC-gaming, buit when that Dark or Otherwise day comes, I'm quite sure the social-samplers will have the question "Where were you on the day 'Half Life 2' was released?" somewhere near the top of their survey.

There was some snow here too, and it's cold, and householders are dressing their houses into more Christmas looks, it really does feel like it.

I had to pay for my copy though, so it's a bit different. ;)

Yea I suppose if my dad had it ready for me when I come home on Tuesday it would feel even MORE like Christmas, but I'm most likely paying for it.
