in my car! It hasn't rained in weeks, and the one time I leave my window down, it pours like hell. I have pools of water in my car, seats soaked....wel, at least it got a bath. Most people would be pissed...I'm laughing ;P It needed cleaned, so here's my incentive!

Lol, my CD player is a bunch of shit. BIG shit. But oh well. and plus, my electric system will be fine, I don't plan on starting my car till it's all smelly good and dry.

But yeah, there's nothing really of value to steal in my car...plus my alarm was on, so anybody who tried to open the door, it would go off, and since people thing the windows are down, no alarm! Ha ha @ them.

You ever seen how fast a crim can yank a stereo from a car? It may be a piece of crap, but replacing it will be an expence and a pain, trust me, I speak from experience. They will ignore the alarm, nick it and run. It really is far better to shut your window before leaving the car.

Plus, if it gets nicked with the windows open, the insurance company will laugh at you.

Actually, I wouldn't be replacing it if it was stolen, I'd just go musicless. Plus whenever I get money, I plan on replacing it anyway, since it doesn't read CD's well at all, *Been through 2 wrecks. D:*

Yeah, I actually do live in a decent neighborhood though, granted, there are kids that look shadey around, but heck, not worried. I'd figure they'd go for the cars that look more expensive with THEIR windows down before my POS

Plus I remove the faceplate and hide it, so it would require them comming inside to get it to sell it ;P

On a happy note, I cleaned my car a bit, dried it up with towels as much as i could *egad, it's disgusting how dirty my towels got! D:* and now I cracked the windows and it will hopefully dry in the next couple days. Plan on tomarrow taking some smelly good spray stuff into it to hoepfully help the smell of mold, if there is any.

Your not kidding. I spend 5-8 hours a day in the car, I have 2 music systems in my car. My stero died about a year ago, took a month to get replaced, I near went insane.

True, that shit pisses me off. If I was going to get subs, it would be one 10". Nothing overloud, but enough to where I can actually hear some bass finally. I hate hearing someones trunk RATTLE because they think it's badass to hear bass over the lyrics. People are so retarded.

On a side note, my car seems to be mostly dried up. Seats are Ok...crusty, but not wet. Floor I didn't check on yet. It's a nice, 90 degree sunny day. Should be good by the end.

If someone wants your stereo, how much of a barrier do you think your windows present?

It takes less than 20 seconds to smash your window, remove your stereo and be off down the street.

Its not about the windows stopping them, but if they are walking along and your cars windows are shut and the one next to it is open, which are they gonna break in.

Plus, as I say, if your windows are up and its locked, the insuance will cover it. They won't if its not.

Like I said, if there is ANYTHING important in there, I'd roll my windows up, but for now, nothing important. I suppose they could steal my car if they really tried... \=
