Its finally here....

lol @ the guy lurking in the background at the start.

As cool as this keyboard is, I can only look at it with disappointment. With a name like "Optimus Maximus," I assumed the thing would transform in at least some capacity. Let dooooooooooown.

Sweet, but I would never pay $10 for a single key. That's like.. what... over $500 in keys alone?

i bet you counted...
ontopic: i really dont see the point , the fact that they're mechanical is pretty cool but i dont see the point of having displays and im sure there are programs out there that let you remap your keyboard.

I never ever look at my keyboard when I type. It would only slow me down.

I would imagine such would be the case for almost any person who is good with computers and can type fast and efficiently.

Listen to that guys accent it's obviously a communist plot to give us all carpal tunnel so we can't operate our weapons!!!!!!!

Obviously you don't need a custom keyboard for typing. The whole point is to remap the keyboard for different applications or games. Imagine playing one of those Janes flight simulators without having to print out the keyboard layout because the function of every key is shown on the keyboard itself. It can also switch between DVORAK and QUERTY.

I know... but all I need really is a remapping tool for my keyboard... not any LEDs. I can easily mentally map shortcuts on my keyboard that I can quickly reference in my mind as to what they do. Takes a bit to get used to, but after a short while it's almost second nature to me.

Dan how the heck did you manage to hit q instead of w? It's QWERTY dammit.
