i caught the latest cartoon of sonic on citv i think it was yesterday and WHAT THE **** has happened? back when i was young and used to watch the cartoon version of it, it was called the adventures of sonic the hedgehog and i remember proper loving it. it was just stupidity basically...it was the one with the two clumbsy robots, scratch and grounder

no but don't you realise that you are quite wrong? there was a series, like i said in my first post, called 'the adventures of sonic the hedgehog' that wasn't in the style of anime and was more like a sitcom than anything where they'd get into sticky situations, etc...

In the original Sonic games for Genesis, Eggman was the Japanese name. Maybe they changed his look for the show to make him more "extreme" or something, I dunno, never seen it

From what i remember, dr ovi kintobor who developed sonic, and made his sneakers, had an accident while trying to put all the 'negative energy' on mobius into the chaos emeralds with a machine that used the gold rings, and in the explosion turned into evil dr ivo robotnik. He was also holding an egg at the time for some reason, i think. The rings scattered around mobius are there because they landed there after the explosion..

I remember the original 2 Sonic cartoons. One was definitely cartoonish with the 2 clumsy retarded robots with the Sonic that always loved chili dogs. The other was more dark and kinda badass in comparison. That was the one with the freedom fighters in the big city fighting Dr. Robotnik.
