Anybody seen BOONDOCK SAINTS?

The guy who Rocko gets them to go to his house and kill them... they are playing pool and poker, etc. The guy is hiding in the bathroom and attacks them, etc. [This is the guy who Rocko drove to a house, where the guy 'cold-blooded' killed an entire family]

I can't find a picture, sorry [28k internet, anyone? And i don't even know what the character is called]

but Check out the guy, he's fairly good as gordon

better than whatsisface from fightclub :)
 
grrrr they need to make a halflife 2 movie with the HL2 engine. as gorden said the FPS could be sped up, and they can make new models oh well you get my point

Yeah he is alot more geeky than others. I reckon he would make a great Gordon Freeman. And I reckon this guy would say yes straight away aswell.

Though seems like in HL2 Gordon, even though geeky, has some form of sex appeal since Alyx flirts.

damn women can be strange with who they find sexy. Atleast guys are consistant with tits and arses being the deciding factor ;), women seem to just go for the strange ones on TV shows and stuff, apart from real life were they'll go for the ones who'll treat them like dirt and yet they'll always dream of someone who'll treat them right yet would never touch that sort of person in real life. It's true, treat a woman right and she just wants to be your friend, treat her like shit and she wants your babies haha women, can't live with them can't get laid without em


But yeah that guy would probably fit well in the part. I'm sure there's some female fanbase of his out there too

Anyone had any idea's for the other characters? Kliener, Eli, Barney etc. etc..
 
I hope the movie is going to have a large budget. Just because it's going to be based on a computer game it doesn't mean it has to be crap.

They can create something special here I hope they do well...
 
It would definitely need Marc Laidlaw to write the story and the screenplay.

It's been discussed before... Trying to remember what the outcome of it was. I think people liked the idea of the guy that directed Fight Club. A few others thought Quentin Tarrantino.

heh anyone suggesting Fincher should watch Alien3 to see he wouldn't be a good choice, Fight Club was a one hit wonder (and wasn't even that good anyway)

Tarrantino would be a bad choice, Freeman and Shepard doing karate kicks and lots of pointless profanity

I'm pretty sure Burton is trying to get back into that, its what he did best and he knows it now


Or John Carpenter, he'd come up with something scary enough, or James Cameron for the action, or even Ridley Scott for the suspense which HL had a plenty
 
Karate kicks? He's not a kung-fu director. He's just got a little element of that in his new one. Yeah, he wouldn't really fit in though. It's not his kinda film.

Money can do that.. if HL works it has to be an indie movie and not Hollywood, get Burton back into proper independant film and it'll be all better

You know what I mean though. I mean his films are good, the style just isn't the sort of style that would fit something like Half-Life.

Atleast Arnie has sworn now not to make anymore films now he's running Cali, so no danger of him playing Gordon and it ending up like his other films (Freeman, I'll be back.. hmm;))

Here's an idea. For a bit of a laugh.

You know how before the phantom menace was released, people would do those fake trailers, using clips from different movies yeah. Why not do a competition for fun here, people put together faked trailers for a Half-Life film, could be funny right?.. right? :p
 
That big Fish movie reminded me of Edward Scissorhands for some reason.
 
Don't you guys think that the risk of making a movie would ruin you whole HL experience. I mean, only the fact that someone playing Gordon is actually going to talk would make it different, let alone all the other elements that simply cannot be captured entirely in a movie...

Think of all the movies that have been made of books that left the fanbase heavily divided arguing if it was worthy or not....
 
That reminds me actually.

I had a dream that Arnold was in a few weeks ago. I was sitting somewhere just talking to a friend then Arnold comes and sits on the chair in front of me. I don't bother looking at him or anything like it was totally normal, then I look at him and look back. I totally blanked him. I carried on talking to my friend, thought I'd better stop blanking Arnold so I turned towards him, put my hand out, shook his hand and said "Oh, congratulations by the way". And turned around back to my friend again...
"Anyway, as I was saying...."

Weird dream.

yeah the music. Burton must have hired Danny Elfman again (far from a bad thing, that guy makes excellent music) but I imagine its not finished yet as I'm pretty sure that was the music from Edward Scissorhands

DeusEx2 why do you think its going to terminate out HLX experience. I don't think so. example:

ENTER THE MATRIX, THE MATRIX(123) + ANIMATRIX they all have a diffrent experience and ETM did not distroy the movie, it adds more value and ideas to it.
