I've had my first lucid dream today :D

recently some other strange stuff happened on a job with my best friend. however I have done my sharing for today

At least your a friend who is always there when needed. But in some instances it becomes to much for even a friend to bear... To quote Nickleback, "How the **** did we wind up like this?....". Because in this life ya never know what's gonna happen and I guess thats the magic of it all....

I have a lucid dream about once a week actually. I always know I'm having one because I go from laying in bed to sliding quickly out of it and standing around in my room being able to levitate stuff and fly. Its helps to find a hook like this, something that clues your brain into the fact that you are dreaming. As soon as I feel myself sliding out of bed, (its hard to explain) I know I'm in for a fun night!

The only dream I remember having lately was this one where I was driving down a nearby street and I saw an asteroid flying above us and it was going really slow...I started thinking that if it keeps going it'll pass us by and hit somewhere else instead of here, then I figured out what direction it was going in, and I figured it was going west (when I woke up and thought about it I realized I was wrong in the dream, it was actually going north). All of a sudden it drops into the harbour and causes some kind of..."dirt wave", but I don't get crushed, the ground just disapears and I have to climb back onto the road which was the only thing I could see.

Next thing I knew I was home watching the news talking to someone on the phone....it was really weird.

I think what caused this dream was when I was in school, I read this article in my Science class that was on the wall about an asteroid missing earth by like 5,000 kilometres or something, and we didn't know about it until it passed us by.

It wasn't lucid, either, and I didn't even know you could have these "Lucid Dreams".

I'll probably have one tonight now...

Yea, everytime I notice I'm dreaming I wake up. Like I'll be in a dream and something will happen and I'll be like this is impossible and then say to myself, "Oh wait I must be dreaming." When this happens I just wake up. I wish I wouldn't because I wanna control my dreams, it seems like it'd be pretty cool.

I've had lucid dreams before. Anytime that I wake up from one I want to just go back to sleep so I can control all of it again. Usually when I start to realize it's a dream I wake up, but sometimes I don't and that when the fun begins, you know women, guns, tanks, karate, cars. It's pretty hard for me to remember what I was doing in my dream, but if I try and remind myself throughout the day about what I dreamt about the previous night I can actually remember it for quite awhile. Like this one time I dreamt of these two hot girls, one's a German exchange student and the other one's a cheerleader, I had a mansion and there was a huge bed that took up an entire room... yah that was one nice lucid dream. I'm not joking about it either. I wanna go to sleep now.

The first and only lucid dream i ever had was pretty sweet! The dream started off i was driving to a friends house and for some reason the front of my car was pointing up to the sky but i was still driving straight and i was like wtf, this is a dream.. and so i pulled back on the steering wheel and i took off flying around in my car, and i was like wait, i can do anything i want so i pretty much snapped my fingers and ugh this hot asian chick appeared in my room and then the *cough* fun *cough* insued

Ive had a couple, the longest was spontaneous, it happened in front of my house, i then ran down the sidewalk and tried to fly, didnt work to well tho, i fell back into normal dreaming after that.

I had a dream where Bush was talking about the national debt on live TV, I then rewound it with my mind and he suddenly declared blockades and threatened war on all Communist Nations.

I've had some strange experiences with dreams sometimes.

Once.. I lived through the next couple days of my life...in the dream. Strange things were happening. People that I didn't even really know, people that I just walk by going thru campus, would try to play tricks on me, stare at me with wide eyes and crazy grins...my teachers would pick me out and ask me questions totally unrelated to the class I was in. My friends on my floor had been replaced with color cardboard cutouts of themselves... LOTS of crazy things happened...I was totally weirded out. Then in the dream I finally went to sleep...but then I just woke up...and sat in bed figuring out how it was a dream...it was definitely creepy.

Most of my dreams I'm in semi-control of myself. I choose what I want to do..but I have the urge to do weird things that I don't normally do.

Another weird dream experience I had was about me going to a party at a friend's house. We had a good time...it was sorta like a high school reunion. I talked to one of the hottest chicks in my grade...and we talked about college and things. She wanted me to visit her at college the weekend after (Which she said was Bethel College or University I forget) and gave me her dorm phone number. I woke up a bit later upset...because this party was that night...but it wasn't really gonna be a high school reunion thing..it was just me and like 8 other friends.

The strange thing is...I had never heard or talked to her about what college she was going to...so I IM'ed my friend that was at Bethel and asked him to check their online campus directory. Her name was there. I remembered the first 3 digits of the number...and sure enough they were the first three digits of her dorm phone...it was really crazy. I was just totally weirded out...

Most of my other dreams are just plain stupid though... They'll be about me going to buy broccoli or something. The major conflict would be me trying to find the one's that look most like a real tree...and then I won't be able to find the ones I want...and I have to go to the broccoli orchard to cut my own down...

Yeah... just plain weird and stupid..

the wierdest dream i ever had went like this:
I was in panama city beach florida at night, at this hotel on the beach that i stayed at when i went there on spring break a couple years ago, anyway there was a huge party and i was walking around with snoop doggy dog, well we got into a huge fight with these 3 white guys (besides me they were the only white guys there) and me and snoop took off in his caddy as we where driving along the beach these alien space craft started following us real fast they were hovering over the ocean right beside us so we spead up and went to my grandmas house, we got in there and smoked a joint and we saw all these lights outside that were alien spacecraft and stuff was blowing up then i woke up...

Shortest dream ever - I remember drifting off to sleep, then I was walking through a thick forest. Suddenly a branch snapped out infront of me and thwacked me in the face, and I woke up with the whole room spinning.

Only other detail I can remember about the dream is I was puss-in-boots. Go figure =/
