Is Haley not as well known as I thought? I had known of him from Bad News Bears, and much later Little Children. His performance in Watchmen was the film's best as well.

Why isn't Englund Freddy again, with all that make up, age isn't really a concern, and he has been the only decent thing in any of the Elm Street movies. (Although I enjoyed FvJ).

As much as I like him, I don't know how well he will play Freddy. Freddy has always been very Tongue in Cheek.
