Played this X amount of times on the Xbox, and I'm STILL finding new things. This game is great. The story is phenomenal, simply fantastic. If you ever had any doubts about this game, get it now!

I have to admit that I didn't like Jade Empire half as much as KOTOR or Baldur's Gate II.

The realtime combat stuff was totally unchallenging and repititive. Actually, now that I think about it the combat was essentially broken.

Also, I didn't like not having any equiptment. No loot? Next please. Loot is one of the best parts of the RPG genre!

Hopefully they do a better job with Mass Effect.

I concur, the story seemed decent from what I saw my brother play though (he beat it)

Story's good, combat is a bit boring and repetitive.

Mass Effect's combat is more in line with RE4 combat than Jade Empire.

I thought the comabt wasn't all that bad.....

That said I did have a combination of styles Leaping Tiger, Fortunes Favorite and Jade Golem (Slightly overpowered that one!) oh and Mirabella if I was feeling lazy

That said though, the thing that made it in all honesty is the characters. Henpecked Hou and "The Outsider" were both stupidly hilarious.

Although if you listen through the credits you hear him get "caught"

Did anyone else get that the British foreigner was John Cleese? I love that part, probably my favorite in the whole game.

Incidently, make sure you watch all the credits. Theres some damn funny stuff there
