how exactly do i install this thing, the readme is kinda confusing, i extracted the stuff to where my hl2.exe is located but im kinda confused on what to make the shorcut from, and how to add the line to the launce parameters, -game jbmod -console, anyone help me out?

just put the folder where the hl2.exe is, go into steam, create a shortcut of half life 2 on the desktop, right click/properties the shortcut, add the extra stuff at the end of the location in target, and you should be good to go :cheers:

For the launch parameters, go to half-life2 in the steammenu. From there, rightclick and enter properties. Click on Launch Options. Enter the lines you specified there. Click okay, you're done.

if you wanna make it easy on yourself just put the whole directory into the sourcemods folder in steam/steamapps
and now you can choose it in the play games tab under third party content

did this, started it up, but how do i get into the game, i can select new game, or load game, but theres no saves or new games to select from

After putting the JBMod directory in sourcemods, go to steam. it'll be under third party mods.

try opening the console and typing "map d2_coast_01" (or any other map).
