Starwars is for nerds and women. Halflife 2 is for men.

I'm trying to think of a witty retort but nothing comes to mind :afro:

thats because TheOriginalEvil is right lol.

But i have to say i like Starwars and The empire strikes back, all the rest of the movies just suck ass.

What if you like both Starwars and Half-life2? Does that mean you're a nerdy girly-man?

Or something so grotesque that it will destroy the phyche of anyone who even thinks about it?

But yeah,I'll be trying to play it sometime.

JK2 and JK3 are good games...

well, I'm assuming JK3 is, because its so simuler to JK2, which ROCKED

What about JK: Knights of the Old republic??

Are you referring to Bioware's game on X BOX? Or a 1st person version idea? If you're talking about the former, I'd have to say its one of the most original and overall best games made using the SW universe. Fun from start to finish. And writing that beats anything Lucas has written for 20 years.

Too bad i've had the full game for about a month and a half now.

Yeah i just heard about it, i want it on PC.
must look into it more :)

If you have an X BOX I'd highly recommend getting that version. I'm not a fanboy or anything (I own all the Bioware titles on PC cept' KOTOR), but it works really well for it control-wise. Feels a lot more cinematic on your television, as well.

jkII preforms like crap for me for some reason averageing about 25 fps? wtf

This is what I got. 65-90 FPS on average with:
1600x1200 resolutionx16 bit colour
Highest Detail and Textures
... Just set the advanced options(Anistropic Filtering etc...) off.

Didn't enjoy the demo. Mos Eisley level is some of the most boring level design since . . . ever. Big areas separated by hallways. Woohoo! Cut scenes were ill timed and jerky (I can see why Valve eschews them). Voice acting dull. All of the guns were underpowered and did nothing but help the enemies shoot you (I know they want you to use the lightsaber, but c'mon). Voice acting bad. And when you watch the cutscenes, it looks like the characters are skating across the ground (worse than usual).

I think the HL2 vids have spoiled me. Watching the Star Wars characters deliver their lines was painful after seeing the Kleiner lab/G-Man dmo.

Its not just the demo........the whole game is like that.......and there are all kinds of graphical glitches.
