"Move over, Rover and let Jimi take over"!

In a twist on the recent string of sex tapes of Hollywood?s young stars, Vivid Entertainment plans to release what it says is a film from the vaults of classic rock: a sex film supposedly of Jimi Hendrix.

The film shows a naked man who resembles Hendrix, the guitar legend who died in 1970, wearing a bandanna in his Afro, having sex with two brunettes in a dimly lighted bedroom.

Totally gonna drop acid and jack off to this when it comes out.

I was gonna use these for an avatar, or on my profile, still might, but couldn't resist posting them:

I have a poster like that on my door!!! Except it doesnt flash like that unless there's some drugs going round.

Do I really need to say it?

Rock out with your cock out.

A black guy in the 70s with an afro and a bandana? They're sure it's jimi how exactly?

This is still awesome though, Jimi is such a god :D

EDIT: nm, link clicked

Will be interesting to see.... Hendrix was rumoured to be hung. Supposedly he wasnt too long but girthwise he was legendary amongst his female 'fans'

I had heard about this years ago. Cynthia the plaster caster. Kiss even had a song about her. Here is a little story obout Jimi's unit....

I find your interest in "Jimi Hendrix's 'unit' " quite disturbing.

I'm not familiar with Jimi Hendrix's music.

<runs>

Hendrix songwriting was mediocre, but his guitar-playing was not of this world.

he was a pretty sloppy player, but still damn good

Well, Rolling Stone is full of shit, but Hendrix is still the most brilliant guitarist I've ever heard.

Hendrix was innovative (probably helped by the copious amounts of hallucinogens he took) but it belittles everyone since to start throwing round labels like 'best guitarist ever'.

How did I miss this thread before? Jimi Hendrix kicks ass.

Was listening to 'Purple Haze' the other day. Greatest black man who ever lived imo.

Hendrix was no doubt a very competent and influential guitarist, but I would never call him 'the best guitarist ever.' Hard to believe, but there are actually plenty of great guitarists that are alive!

Anyway, Hendrix sex tape doesn't really interest me. It's quite disturbing that some of his fans want to... eh... You know what I mean.

Okay, I don't wanna incite Solaris here or anything, but... why did you just say that? :|

cuz the black man can only gain respect if he's dribbling a ball/rockin out

Because,

black men w/ insane rock n' roll talent = win.

Easily one of the greatest rockers in history.

Couple of Other bands with black lead guitarists/singers include: Sevendust and Skindred.

I love them too, though not the same genre of rock as Jimi's music.

How does rock talent have anything to do with being black?

And by the way, there are far more amazing guitarists out there than Hendrix. Just because pop culture says he's good doesn't mean he's the best.

Go listen to some spanish guitar, flamenco, and all that good stuff. Then listen to Hendrix and tell me if he seems that amazing.

He had fat fingers from heroin which is why his guitar playing was kinda messy/awesome.

I might have just made that up.

Simply because there are few black rockers out there nowadays. I just think it's awesome.

Never heard spanish rock (flamenco maybe?) before. I'm sure the guitarists are great, but my spanish isn't all that great. Then again, it's hard to understand the English rock lead singers the first few times through too.

Flamenco is a kind of music, it's not rock.

That's a famous flamenco player. You can find a lot of his stuff on youtube if you google his name.

As far as talent is concerned, Jimi Hendrix is a noob compared to him. Mainstream music generally isn't something that showcases talent.

I'd put classical music to be miles away from Rock or anything out there as far as skill and virtuosity is concerned.

I love rock, but I'm not going to pretend like the people who play it are masters of music. There is a sea of stuff out there, and saying that mainstream players are "the best out there" just strikes me as a somewhat uninformed statement to make.

Allright, now we are getting into the area of what "The Best" actually means...
Jimi, for a guy who never had any formal guitar training, never learned to read or write music, played everthing by ear, was pretty damn good. When some of the other great guitar players, like BB King, Eric Clapton, (both who actually played with Jimi) Stevie Ray Vaughn, just to name a few, say Jimi was one of the best, I'll take their words for it.
"The Best" is running into an opinion thing, which we all know, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, they all stink, except your own....Don't get me wrong Jimi is my favorite musician of all times, but even I will hesitate to say he's “The Best”. There are simply to many varables to hang that tag on anyone...
But here is something that some of you may be surprised at, Jimi on a twelve string acoustic, obviousy stoned, but playing some of the best blues I've ever heard...Take a few minutes and check this out
