I wanted to make a little money this summer so I started picking blue-barries and the pay is terrible, 60 cents a pound, from a 7 pound bucket, I was wondering if anyone knew any better paying jobs in canada for a 14 year old kid, my friend said that I could help out at home depot, like putting stuff on shelfs and stuff, is this true? please tell me some jobs!!!!! I need money!!! I want a psp!!!!!!

I...hate handhelds :hmph:

Are there many lawns around where ya live? Just go mow people's lawns! :D

Works best in old people neighborhoods ;)

if you buy a PSP after really hard work you are going to KILL yourself. save it on something you really need. shit your job sounds plush, just eat some blue berries and your set.

You should make some blueberry pancakes, those are delicious. Or maybe a pie, blueberry pie is great.

Where in Canada do you live? Because there is a ton of berry farms around here...

Dude, I'm 15 and I work in a resturant... here in the USA, all ya gotta do is get a worker's permit. No such thing in Canada?

cheers (i made the animation but the image was from www.somethingisawful.com i had to pay 80 bucks to get on the forums)

haha! I already have a summer job helping build a deck for my aunt. :P I work about 4-5 hours a day, and it pays pretty well. So far I have $110 usd.
Maybe you should convince one of your relatives that they need a deck? :D

i do quality control and inventory fishing rods... uuuhhh minimum wage anyone? lol

Find a resturaunt, you usually get tips and make bank. I work at Johny Carinos if anyone knows about it, its a pretty big chain. Well I make about 12-15 dollars an hour depending on how busy it gets. My wage is only 4 an hour, but with my tips added on its around 12-15 an hour. One of the best jobs in the city for a 17 year old! Since minimum wage here is 5.15!

Cheat and fill the bottom of the bucket with rocks while having blueberries on top.

Everyone wins.

Ok, im not some stupid kid looking to mow lawns, or sell lemonade, i'm looking for a minimum wage job, the people at the farm labour pool offices have my resume and i call them but they never have any jobs for me, my mom (who used to work on farms when she was a kid) said i might be able to make 8 bucks an hour working 8 hours a day pickin peaches, thats like 280 bucks a week, so if any 1 lives in ontario
(niagara region) and has done this b 4, tell me a good place to apply!

How about a kissing booth? :|

As for me, I am going into the glorious trade of shelf-stacking this summer which I shall no doubt pursue until this time next year. Then next summer I am going to work as a gopher on a film set.

i used to sell games to kids in my school, but i can't dl games any more, i moved out to the country, and alls i can get is dial up, they dont have dsl for thsi area yet :(
